PURPOSE:To shorten waiting time for the arrival of an elevator by disposing cage call means at plural places away from an elevator stop in addition to cage call means installed at the elevator stop on each floor. CONSTITUTION:In addition to cage call means 131-132 installed at an elevator stop, cage call means 111-115 are also disposed at places away from the elevator stop on each floor of a building 120. Accordingly, a user can press remote buttons 111-115 disposed beside the entrance of his room when he is leaving his room to go to the other floor or remote buttons 112-115 disposed on the corridor wall on his way to the elevator stop. Calls from these remote buttons 112-115 are inputted into the operation control device of an elevator, and the operation control device controls the elevator according to the position of the pressed remote button in such a way that a cage arrives at the floor at the closest possible time to the supposed time of the user's arrival at the elevator stop. |
