<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title deinking agent containing a product obtained by adding a plurality of alkylene oxides containing a specific amount of ethylene oxide to castor oil, etc., capable of readily removing foreign matter such as ink in the case of regeneration treatment of waste paper and providing a regenerated paper having high brightness. CONSTITUTION:0.5-20 pts.wt. two or more kinds of alkylene oxides containing 10-95wt.% ethylene oxide in the alkylene oxides are added to 1 pts.wt. castor oil and/or hardened castor oil to provide the deinking agent for regenerating waste paper, containing castor oil and/or hardened castor oil alkylene oxide. Furthermore, waste paper of newspaper and magazine is cut and mixed with water and subjected to disagregation treatment by adding 0.3wt.% deinking agent, 1.5wt.% sodium hydroxide, 3.5wt.% sodium silicate, etc., thereto and then subjected to floating treatment to aggregate and float ink. As a result, the ink can be readily removed.</p> |
