PURPOSE: To eliminate the work interruption during lifting up an assembled package by forming a package of printed matters by a slide member driven by a pair of chains restored automatically, at the front part of the package of printed matters. CONSTITUTION: Printed matters are lifted up in order by a belt system 4 along a stretch 5, slided downward along the stretch 5 from the upper end, and piled in the vertical condition to a slide platform 7. Then, a pair of chains 8 restorable automatically move a slide member 9 fitted to one of the links to the front side, it assembles the package of printed matters at the front side of the package, and the package is pressed by a small idle wheel 13. By such a way, the working is not necessary to be interrupted while lifting up the assembled package, and the reliability is improved in a simple structure. |
