<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the image forming time for a first piece and at the same time, to prevent paper from a paper housing part with a long path from remaining by feeding the first piece of paper from a paper housing part with a short carrying path and feeding the second piece onward from the paper housing part with the long carrying path. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine main body 1 is placed on a base 2, a first paper feeding tray 3 and a second paper feeding tray 4 are provided in the main body 1, and inside the base 2 a third to fifth paper feeding trays 5 to 7 are provided. When A4 horizontal size paper is housed in both the trays 3 and 5, and if the desired paper size is A4 horizontal one the first piece of paper is fed from the tray 3, and from the second piece onwards, papers are fed from the tray 5. Here, the second piece is controlled so that it is fed to the transferring position with the same timing as when the second piece is fed from the tray 3. Thus, copying can be carried out in the same length of time as when the second piece fed from the tray 3.</p> |
