PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network print system capable of limiting printing without limiting the number of user IDs to be registered for limiting printing and further without physically separating a network. SOLUTION: In the print network system, where a client PC 1 for transmitting a print job and a printer for receiving and printing the print job from this client PC 1 are connected on a network 4, the print job from the client PC 1 is received and it is decided whether the user ID contained therein is previously registered or not. When the user ID is registered, a transmitting source address expressing a printing limiting server 2 and print data are transferred to a printer 3 shown by a transmitting destination address. When the user ID is not registered, printing is not permitted and the printing limiting server 2 for transmitting a printing non-permission message to the client PC 1 shown by the printing source address is connected to the network 4. The printer 3 is provided with an authentication part 33 for executing printing only when the transmitted transmitting source address expressing the printing limiting server 2 is previously registered and for refusing printing when such an address is not registered.
