<p>Regardless of the role or type of equipment to be locked, the principle of the locking system is the same. One or more steel psitons bolts are forced into sockets by springs to provide the locking action. When the engine of the vehicle is started, a partial vacuum is created in the inlet manifold. This vacuum is coupled to a chamber behind the piston or pistons, and it covercomes the spring pressure, withdrawing the bolts.</p> |
