<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theft preventive device for on-vehicle electric equipment eliminating the necessity of a user memorizing a code number or the like and dispensing with troublesome action of previously unifying signals exchanged in the whole device. SOLUTION: In the case of setting a television 121 in a normal operation disabled state, a characteristic code of a theft preventing device body 101 is transmitted from the theft preventing device body 101 side to the television 121 side, and the characteristic code is stored in an EEPROM 124. When the same code as the code stored in the EEPROM 124 is received on the television 121 side, the television 121 is released from the normal operation disabled state.</p> |
