DRIVER'S FACE DIRECTION DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver's face direction detector capable of detecting the direction of a driver's view with simple constitution and to provide on- vehicle equipment and a variable irradiation direction headlight device. SOLUTION: This driver's face direction detector 10 comprises a light receiving element 11 disposed on the driver's face; light emitting elements 12 provided in a plurality of parts in a cabin; a driving circuit 13 for making the light emitting elements emit light; and a processing circuit 14 for processing the detection signal of the light receiving element to determine the driver's face direction.
