PURPOSE:To efficiently measure a bone by automating measurement by automatically reading, storing and displaying the image of a bone to be examined of X-ray photographic film obtained along with a standard substance and operating the same using an inputted reference point. CONSTITUTION:A line sensor CCD is arranged in the direction right-angled to the moving direction of an X-ray photographic film and strip like light LED is applied to the film and condensed by a rod lens to obtain the intensity signal of transmitted light corresponding to density. Noticing the aluminum step of a standard substance, a shadow density is read in a film low in light and shade difference while the intensity of a strip like light source is kept as it is. A read data group is stored in the image input/output part and image memory of a data processing part 62 and displayed on a CRTC and a CRT in an enlarged state. The indication of reference point condyle/epiphysis necessary for measuring the shape of a bone is performed by KBI/F and a keyboard. The bisector of the condyle and the epiphysis is calculated and an intersecting point is detected and operation is performed by an ROM and an RAM using the bisector and the intersecting point. The measured results of a bone are outputted by PRI/F and a printer, and the bone can be evaluated efficiently. |
