PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating device which can improve flow of feed water into a pulverizing chamber without injuring a function of preventing fall of foreign matter by a splash guard. SOLUTION: In the garbage treating device, the splash guard 8 having plural sheets of division pieces 9 is provided at a garbage charging port 3 and a cover 10 having a water passage 15 is provided above the splash guard 8 with freely attaching/detaching. A pressing projection 16 for pressing down a part of division pieces 9 among the plural sheets of division pieces 9 of the splash guard 8 is provided at a lower surface of the cover 10. |
