Toy capable of changing colour with a change in temperature, and corresponding method, connected with a toy gun-painted with paint which contains thermochromic material which changes colour as the temperature of the body varies in combination with a heat brush for producing a relatively rapid transfer of heat and effecting the desired colour change. The brush includes a tip support with an external ring, an internal ring and a porous and relatively slim elastic fabric which contains a conical ice cube and extends over the latter and is trapped between the annular elements. A foamed element inserted between a brush handle and the cube applies a predetermined pressure on the cube against the fabric at the tip of the brush in order to produce the necessary transfer of heat to the toy and to effect the desired colour change. <IMAGE>
