<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive sugar-level measuring apparatus in which a measurement error is kept within a range of±0.5 brix, even if the same vegetable and fruits are measured of any time. SOLUTION: In the nondestructive sugar-level measuring apparatus, a plurality of trays on which vegetables and fruits are placed are conveyed sequentially, laser beams of wavelengthsλ1 toλ3 are made incident on the vegetables and fruits in three measuring parts which are installed in a conveyance passage, and the sugar level of vegetables and fruits is measured on the basis of the respective laser beams emitted from the vegetables and fruits. The respective wavelengthsλ1,λ2 andλ3 satisfy the condition 860 nm <= wavelengthλ1 <=900 nm, 900 nm <= wavelengthλ2 <= 920 nm <= wavelengthλ3 <= 960 nm, with standard deviationsΔλ1,Δλ2,Δλ3 of wavelength fluctuations in the wavelengthsλ1,λ2,λ3 being 0.057 nm or less.</p> |
