The invention relates to a clipboard for a shopping list adaptable to the deposit lock on the handle of a trolley as used in self-service shops to enable the customer to attach thereto his or her shopping list and so consult it and add to it easily while shopping. The clipboard consists of a board 1, fixed beneath which is a device for plug use 6 whose end is shaped either in a hook for the securing of a chain by which the trolley can be tied up, or in the form of a retrievable coin or token, and designed to be engaged in either of the two entrances 4 or 5 of an automatic deposit lock 2 mounted on the push handle 3 of the pay trolley; the clipboard may also be provided with a token container. <IMAGE>
