PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat- deformation resistance, impact resistance, chemical resistance, moldability, etc., by compounding a composition composed of a polyarylate and a polyamide with a specific amount of an olefin copolymer containing an acid anhydride. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition composed of (A1) 20-80wt.% of a polyarylate having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.2-1.5 and (A2) 80-20wt.% of a polyamide (e.g. polytetramethylene adipamide) having a relative viscosity of 2-5 with (B) 1-40 pts.wt. (preferably 5-30 pts.wt.) of an acid anhydride-containing olefin copolymer having a copolymerization ratio of carboxylic acid anhydride of 0.01-30wt.%. The component B is preferably a copolymer produced by the graft- polymerization of 0.3-5wt.% of maleic anhydride to an ethylene-propylene copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 150,000-1,000,000. |
