PURPOSE: A life time indicator of water dispenser and method thereof is provided, which can prevent any unnecessary indication of life time by cumulating only real used time thereby indicating real life time of filter, so that water dispenser filter can be kept at optimum condition. CONSTITUTION: The indicator comprises a lifetime evaluation part(37), an indicator(23), an indication selection part(31) and a control part(33). The evaluation part(37) creates information relating the used time of the water dispenser and the indicator shows the information. The indication selection part decides whether or not the information have to be indicated. The control part makes the information of used time indicate at the indicator.
