This apparatus comprises: - a support 1 onto which the glove 3 can be fitted; - a means 4 for holding the glove on this support 1; - a inflatable member 6 interposed between the support 1 and the holding means, so that the glove can be placed between this inflatable member and holding means; - means 15, 13, 9, 16 for inflating, on the one hand, the aforementioned member 6 in order to immobilise the glove 3 between the latter and the holding means 4, and on the other hand, the glove after the said member has been inflated; - and means 7 for holding the inflatable member 6 on the support 1. This apparatus makes it possible to test the leaktightness of composite gloves made of fabric and latex at a sufficient inflation pressure, and can accommodate gloves of all sizes. Application to insulating gloves used on electrical installations. <IMAGE>
