PURPOSE:To enlarge the capacity of an air cleaner and improve the intake efficiency by disposing each air cleaner below each front and rear part of a fuel tank, and mutually communicating these air cleaners with a passage consisting of a recessed part formed in the lower part of the fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 has a plurality of cylinders 2, 2' disposed in a V-shaped form in the front and rear thereof and mounted below a fuel tank 4 in the front of a frame 3. In this case, a first air cleaner 5 is disposed below the front part of the fuel tank 4 and connected to the evaporator 6 of the front cylinder 2. A second air cleaner 7 is disposed below the rear part of the fuel tank 4 and connected to the evaporator 6' of the rear cylinder 2'. The fuel tank 4 has a recessed part 8 formed in its lower surface center part, and also a passage 10 formed by providing a splice plate 9 on one side of the recessed part. The first and second air cleaners 5, 7 are connected to each other through the both end parts of the passage 10. |
