The invention relates to a three-dimensional fabric F provided with an axis, comprising a plurality of tubular layers of axial threads Z, which are arranged concentrically around and on the outside of the axis and each of which comprises a plurality of axial threads extending longitudinally relative to the axis; a circumferential thread Y theta which extends circumferentially around the axis and is woven towards the outside of an outer end layer of axial threads, towards the inside of an inner end layer of axial threads and towards a selected adjacent pair of layers of axial threads; and a plurality of radial threads Yrz, each of which is woven between the circumferential threads in order to extend in a zig-zag successively in the longitudinal and radial directions relative to the axis, being substantially perpendicular to the circumferential threads, and which are respectively woven in a particular plane passing through the said axis. The invention also relates to a process for producing this three-dimensional fabric.
