摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a device to be applicable especially to a high energy beam, by utilizing a means to form a plane total reflection optical surface having one point which accords with a bending point of lens axis, and providing a means to form a beam convergent optical surface. CONSTITUTION: A member 7 has a beam incidence part 7a functioning as a piano- convex focusing lens, a central part 7b functioning as a prism, and a beam outgoing part 7c functioning as a piano-convex focusing lens. A light beam 3 diverged from an end part 4 of a photoconductor 2 is inflected on the surface S of the incidence part 7a, then totally reflected on the plane surface S2 of the central part 7b, and again is inflected on the surface S3 of the outgoing part 7c and then goes out in a shape of a focusing beam to reach a display surface 5. In a spherical surface, limited portions for the incidence part 7a and the outdoing part 7c are arranged at both sides of the total reflection surface 7b along the lens axis a-b, and the light beam is emitted along the lens axis a-b. In such a way, a micro optical assembly composed of the member 7 can be obtained, and active optical surfaces of the member are in a shortest distance each other. Therefore, this device can be made significantly miniaturized, and is utilized especially for medical applications such as an endoscope and a laser therapy.
