The fastener has two rigid elements (1, 2) which are articulated round a pin (4). One end of the bracelet (22) is held on one element (2) by a locking plate (23). This is joined to a rod (12) which is held between the arms (11) of a U-shaped part (9) fixed to the end of the element. The bracelet is held in the space between the plate and the rod. It is fixed by a tube (20), with projections on its outer surface. The ends of the rod engage in holes (25, 26b) in the plate and one end (16) is put through a slot (26a).
