PURPOSE: To give a doctor the maximum freedom of movement and to make it possible for the head of a patient to be effectively supported at the right position, by making one edge of a horizontal cross arm held for the upper part of a riser member, and making the patient's head, which is to be assorted fixedly with a base, positioned perpendicularly for the bottom part of the riser member. CONSTITUTION: A riser member 5 is supported by one edge of a horizontal arm 6, and the other edge of the arm 6 is incorporated with a hollow vertical column 7. The hollow vertical column 7 shows an almost symmetric plane which aligns with a plane a-a', and is fixed to a stand 10. The hollow vertical column 7 is a means to make the chin of a patient positioned, in which a supporting means with a shape of the chin rest 8 is included. The stand 10 of the device can easily enter into a hollow provided in a rim of a workbench P, and its shape matches with the shape of hollow. This device has two handles 12' and 12" which are fixed to the stand 10 at the both sides of the vertical column 7, and the patient can move more easily his head forward to the position of the device. Further, the patient's head can be held not to move during examining the patient or under operation. |
