<p>PURPOSE:To set the timer picture recording of a video tape recorder only by the reservation operation of a timer in an external electronic equipment by receiving the set position of the timer in the electronic equipment and setting the timer picture recording on the side of the video tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:The video output terminal and audio output terminal of a BS tuner 1 are respectively connected with a video input terminal 4 and audio input terminals 5 and 6 of a video tape recorder 2 and the control output terminal of the tuner 1 is connected with a communication port 3 of the recorder 2. In such a state, the timer reception function of the tuner 1 is operated and a broadcasting time, etc., which is desired to be received, is set. At such a time, control data such as the set time, etc., in the tuner 1 are sent to the port 3 and fetched to a decode circuit 7. After the data are decoded by the circuit 7, the timer picture recording of the recorder 2 itself is set by a control circuit 8. Thus, only by the reservation operation of the timer in the external electronic equipment, the timer picture recording of the video tape recorder can be set.</p> |
