摘要 PURPOSE: To extend the life of a grinding wheel and increase its grinding speed by dispersing grains of thermally static polycrystalline diamond or cubic boron nitride in a bonding matrix. CONSTITUTION: By fixing about 1-200μm abrasive grains of thermally static polycrystalline diamond or cubic boron nitride and abrasive grains of single crystal diamond or cubic boron nitride via a bonding matrix in a substrate, a desired grinding wheel is provide. The bonding matrix is a sintered metal or alloy matrix, an electrodeposited metal or alloy matrix, a resinous matrix, or a vitreous matrix.
