Process in which the particle-type residues are mixed with plastic residues in an endless-screw press, are compressed and extruded. The particle-type residues and the plastic residues are placed in the loading hopper (funnel) of an endless-screw press. The added components are mixed intimately in the endless-screw press by means of the one or more moving screws and, in this case, they are strongly compressed together. The pressure in the mixing process may rise to as much as 100 bar. As particle-type residues, use is made, for example, of dusts, metal shavings, fibres, paper waste or the like. These are fixed in the plastic so that they no longer pollute the environment. By means of the process according to the invention, it is possible to fix any particle-type residue and it is possible thus to obtain a better product.
