This screen comprises, on an insulating substrate (38), a single electroluminescent layer (34) and at least one photoconducting layer (32) stacked on top of each other. The latter two layers are sandwiched between a first system (36) of transparent electrodes and a second system (30) of electrodes, connected to an electrical unit (45) so as to excite certain regions of the electroluminescent layer. The electroluminescent layer (34) consists of a white phosphor. At least two series of colour filters (40 - 42) are placed between the electroluminescent layer (34) and the viewer. <IMAGE>
