A silver halide color photographic material having at least one coupler selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by the following general formulae (I) and (II), at least one compound represented by the following general formula (III) and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (IV) are included in the same layer, <CHEM> <CHEM> wherein the values of R, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, R11, R12, A and X are defined in the specification. The photographic materials disclosed exhibit outstanding image storage stability a decreased occurrence of staining in unexposed portions and decreased color hading by light in their magenta image.
