<p>The present invention relates to a control device equipped with a force limiter (51) operating between a driven part (18,3) and driving part (20,18) of a transmission device (50) between an adjusting member (50) and a sliding rod (3). According to the invention, the control device is characterised in that the force limiter (51) comprises, in order rotationally to couple the driving (20,18) and driven (18,3) parts, meshing means (52) having notches (54) which are lockable, under the action of elastic force-controlling means (21), between a free configuration of engagement in which the driven and driving parts mesh with each other, and a forced configuration of disengagement in which they are able to move relative to each other by skipping from one notch (54) to the next.
