PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn exhibiting specific boiling water shrinkage and boiling water shrinking stress, having improved weaving crimpness and giving a woven fabric having excellent drape, bulkiness and stretchability by drawing a highly oriented undrawn polyester yarn copolymerized with the 3rd component at or below the Tg temperature. CONSTITUTION:The objective yarn composed of a polyester having an alkali dissolution rate >=10 times higher than that of polyethylene terephthalate, a boiling water shrinkage of >=50% and a boiling water shrinking stress of >=0.05g/d can be produced by drawing a highly oriented undrawn yarn of a polyester copolymerized with the 3rd component at or below the Tg temperature of the polymer. |
