PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a person in charge and to eliminate such a trouble as a customer is kept waiting for many hours, etc., by using a battery, performing return, receipt and payment of cash in accordance with a state of its transaction processing, when a power source disconnection is generated in the course of transaction processing, and also, ejecting and returning a medium, such as a card, a bankbook, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a service interruption is generated, a card is returned to a card insertion/ejection port by a card processing machine 7 and returned to a customer by an instruction of a common control circuit 11. When a shutter of a bill receipt/ payment port which is not shown in the figure is in an open state, and when the shutter is in a closed state, a bill is returned to a customer by a take-in/ejection drum 18, as it is and after the shutter is opened, respectively. Except the bills accumulated already in a true bill temporary storage part 21, all the bills being on the way of processing are carried and accumulated in a false bill temporary storage part 22, and after the accumulation, the bills of the false bill temporary storage part 22 are carried in a lump to the take-in/ejection drum 18 through a carrying path, the shutter is opened and the bills are returned to a customer from the bill receipt/payment port. |
