PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricant excellent in lubricity and used at high speed or under a high clamping force by incorporating oil or fat, or a fatty acid ester, and a white solid lubricant into a base oil comprising a mineral oil so as to provide a specified kinematic viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The title lubricant is prepared by incorporating at least one of oil or fat, or a fatty acid ester (e.g. soybean oil, lard, trimethylolpropane, or a pentaerythritol ester of oleic acid), and a white solid lubricant (e.g. talc or graphite fluoride) into a base oil comprising a mineral oil so as to provide a kinematic viscosity of 250-500mm<2>/s at 40 deg.C. This lubricant has excellent lubricity and can be used as a lubricant for a plunger tip in aluminum working at high speed or under a high clamping force. Since it does not contain any ingredient that will pollute the working environment, a good working environment can be obtained. |
