<p>PURPOSE:To reliably break a circuit even when a blower motor is locked and the like by a method wherein a terminal is fixed by energizing a plate spring which is unctioned through the intermediary of a thermal fuse. CONSTITUTION:The title resistor is composed of a main fuse 26, a blower motor 28, a thermal fuse 16, resistance elements 7 to 9 and the like, the flow rate of air is regulated in accordance with the position of a change-over switch 32, and air is fed by the blower motor 26. When the motor 26 is locked, an inrush current of about 50A is made to flow from a battery 24 to the main fuse 26, the motor 28, a plate spring 12, resistance elements 7 to 9 and the like in the state of 'Hi'. As a result, heat is generated on the plate spring parts 12a and 12b, and the thermal fuse 16 by themselves, the thermal fuse 16 is fused, the fuse 16 is burnt out by the energizing force of the plate spring 12, and the circuit 22 is interrupted. When the change-over position is in the position other than 'Hi', the thermal fuse 16 is fused and burnt out by the heating of the elements 7 and 9 where a current is made to flow, and the circuit 22 is interrupted.</p> |
