A method for recovering pulp from waste carton packs comprises washing and cutting the packs, removing 90-95% polyethylene resin by beating the cut pack in the beater, refining the beaten pulp in the refiner, filtering the pulp in the vibrating screen to remove resin remnants, introducing the pulp, alkali liquor, surfactant and sodium silicate into the floatation device to remove polyethylene particles and a pigment component, and separating the pulp and the resin from the pulp liquor in the acceptor and rejector of the pressurized transfer device.
