<p>PURPOSE:To make a spare fan start automatically operating without shutting off a power source when an operating fan is out of order so as to enable a system to continue to operate by a method wherein the spare fan is provided to a rotatable frame in such a state that it differs from the operating fan in phase by 90 degrees. CONSTITUTION:A cross-shaped rotatable frame 1 is provided to a case frame 6, and two or more operating fans 3 and spare fans 4 equal to the operating fans in number are provided to the rotatable frame 1 in such a state that the operating fans 3 and the spare fans 4 are different from each other in phase by 90 degrees. When the fans 3 are out of order, the rotatable frame 1 is made to change in phase by 90 degrees through a drive device 2 without stopping a power source to replace the fans 3 with the fans 4. Thereafter, a power is supplied to the switched fans 4 by a fan power supply control section 5 and made to stop for the fans 3. By this setup, a system can continue to operate without stopping.</p> |
