<p>PURPOSE: To prevent right and left channels from substantially including any signal from the other channel by providing a means for increasing one gain of a component signal, and equalizing the intensity of two composite signals by statistically attenuating one component signal. CONSTITUTION: An FM composite signal including right and left added signals in a base band and right and left subtracted signals in a sub-band is multiplied by a 38kHz sine wave by a multiplying circuit 10, and another composite signal having right and left subtracted signals in the base band is generated. Each composite signal is filtered by a reducing filter 12 or 14, and the L+R and L-R of the base band with a high frequency are removed or suppressed. Those signals are combined in a matrix 16 by adding the signals or subtracting the signals, and generating right and left channel signals. A variable attenuator 18 is placed on the L-R path, and when a signal condition is deteriorated, the L-R signals are gradually decreased so that the signals can be mixed.</p> |
