<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate taking-out of sheet material at generation of jam and the like due to simple constitution and prevent contamination of rollers due to developer by making a carrying roller for sheet material rotatable only in the feeding direction to an image holding body by means of an one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:When jam is generated after transcribing a toner image on sheet material S and before reaching a fixing apparatus 16, at first, the upper casing 1a of a device main body is opened. As a resist roller driving gear is fitted on the shaft of an underside resist roller 13b through an one-way clutch 19 as a driving force transmitting means, in the case of drawing jammed sheet material in the paper feeding direction shown as arrow mark A, the resist roller driving gear is kept in locked condition, but the underside resist roller 13b freely rotates in the arrow mark C direction. Consequently, the sheet material S can be easily drawn out.</p> |
