PURPOSE:To suppress the degradation of picture quality in a blood stream image even when the number of rates is decreased and the number of frames is increased by providing an average processing means to execute average processing to Doppler deviation data for each sample point in a space direction and to supply the result data to the formation of a blood distribution image. CONSTITUTION:When the scanning condition of an ultrasonic wave is set through a control panel 70 by an operator, the scan of the ultrasonic wave is executed by an electronic scanning analog part 12 and ultrasonic echo is collected from a object to be tested. On the other hand, when the scanning condition is set through the control panel 70, the data are processed in an average processing means 60 and the number of ultrasonic rasters is decreased through the control panel 70. Thus, since the fluctuation of the data is suppressed in the space direction even when the number of the frames is increased, the degradation of the picture quality in the blood stream image is reduced in the blood distribution image, which is formed based on the arithmetic outputs of an average speed arithmetic part 31 and of a power arithmetic part 33, and the blood stream image is made satisfactory for diagnosis. |
