<p>A device for fine bubble aeration of waste water by means of air distributors arranged below the water level and connected to an air distribution line, is provided with a perforated air distributor film 3, which is joined at its edges to a shaped body 2, 2' in a sealed manner. The shaped body 2, 2' has a rectangular crosssection and rounded longitudinal edges, and the air distributor film 3 is stretched round the shaped body 2, 2' and joined thereto on the lower side by means of a baseplate 1. Preferably, for further reinforcement and sealing of the air distributor film 3, tightening straps 12 are arranged round the shaped body 2, 2'.
