PURPOSE:To reproduce a document picture the same as an original onto each front cover page by providing a storage means storing read document picture for each page together with page information and a reproducing means outputting the stored document picture sequentially for each page and reproducing the picture on each page of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In the case of taking a copy of a book, a 'book copy' button on a panel is depressed. Then the first page of the book desiring a copy is opened and set to a prescribed position. When a storage button is depressed, a scanner 7 is operated, When, e.g. one page has a size B5, the scanner 7 scans a length twice the size B5. The input data obtained by the scanning of the scanner 7 is transferred from an input section 4 to a memory 2 by a command of a control section 8 having a CPU. The input data in this case is stored in a storage area assigned to each page so as to be represented in the input data storage area shown in figure. Thus, the first front cover is stored in 1st and 2nd pages of storage area. |
