<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a film of superior bonding force with printing ink, metal foil, deposited metal film and the like by manufacturing a film having a specified polyester layer under specified casting condition. CONSTITUTION:When a polyester film is manufactured by bonding a melted sheet having a polyester layer (II) with 7cal/g or less of crystal melting heat DELTAHu laminated at least on one surface of a polyester layer (I) with the surface of a cooling drum while static electric charge is applied, water liquid film is interposed on the surface of said cooling drum. In that case, particularly good bonding properties with a deposited metal film can be provided by making a crystal melting heat DELTAHu of polyester layer (II) 7cal/g or less, preferably in the range of 2-5 cal/g. Also, in order to provide a strong bonding force in the dry and wet atmospheres, the thickness of the polyester layer (II) should be 2mum or less, and further in order to provided transparency, easy slipping properties and strong bonding force in the high temperature treatment, the thickness should be 0.2mum or less. Also, strong bonding force can be retained under sever condition by applying corona discharge treatment to the polyester layer.</p> |
