PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scheme for enabling recording contents of various broadcasting systems to coexist in one optical disk, adapting to the various broadcasting systems. SOLUTION: The broadcasting system of a digital stream signal to be recorded is inspected (ST1116). When the recorded digital stream signal exists, the broadcasting system of the recorded signal is inspected from APP_NAME, and then, the broadcasting system of the signal to be recorded from now is compared with that of the recorded signal (step ST1128). When the broadcasting systems coincide, an object is added to a part after a recorded ESOB file (step ST1130).
