PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable slot-in type disk unit in which buffer effect is secured against vertical vibration generated when making an optical disk execute an information recording/reproducing operation. SOLUTION: This disk unit 1 is constituted in such a way that the optical disk D is made to be attachable/detachable with respect to a clamp head 7 by moving the clamp head 7 upward/downward with an elevating/lowering mechanism, wherein a driven pin 43 guided by a cam groove 34c which is formed on the elevating/lowering mechanism is arranged so as to be elastically supported at a terminal part P2 of the cam groove 34c.
