PURPOSE:To prevent electromagnetic radiation leaked from a connection cable through the use of a control signal by interconnecting equipments through an optical cable. CONSTITUTION:An input signal inputted to a modulator 7 and a control signal sent from a line controller 5 through an optical cable 1 are modulated by the modulator 7. The modulated signal is sent from a transmission line 11 and inputted to a demodulator 8 and demodulated. The control signal is extracted from the demodulated signal and sent to a line controller 6 through an optical cable 2 and the control signal is sent and received. Since the control signal is sent through the optical cable, the electromagnetic wave radiation leaked from the control signal cable is prevented. Moreover, the signal connection between the line controller and the MODEM not violating the standards of the electromagnetic wave disturbance in compliance with the FCC is formed. |
