Fixture installation for heavy components such as engine blocks or complete engines. The fixture comprises a hoistable frame section 1 with a pivoting component carrier 15. A hoist or tipping arrangement comprises a screw-nut transmission 11,12 and two locking devices 24,25 on the hoistable frame section. With the hoistable frame section released from a stationary frame section 7 and locked to the nut, the frame section is able to move vertically. With the hoistable frame section locked to the stationary frame section, and the nut released from the hoistable section, the nut can then tilt the component carrier via a link arm 20. <IMAGE> |
