PURPOSE: To optimize the single physical face set of various radiating elements operating with various frequencies by connecting the radiating elements of microstrip type elements with the radiating elements of electric wire type elements on a common face for constituting an array antenna. CONSTITUTION: This device includes radiating elements in at least two kinds of forms connected on a common face 10, and the radiating elements are operated according to different principles. First radiating elements 11 are a microstrip or patch type. Then, the second radiating elements are electric wire type. In this way, two frequency antennas can be obtained, and radiation can be provided with the first frequency by using the patch antenna on the same operating face as the electric wire antenna operating radiation with the second frequency. The operational impedance of those two antennas is optimized to the different frequencies. In this case, disconnection between those antennas can be exactly executed based on a fact that the radiation principles of each antenna are different in characteristics. |
