Method for linear encoding of musical notes by computers, using specially written software, which makes it possible: first to program from a step by step, the notes of a musical composition, in the visual form of linear marks, while specifying for each note: its level, its power and its value, these marks being represented on the screen of the monitor on a set of parallel vertical tracks which correspond to the keys of a piano keyboard; then secondly, with the sequence of marks of the musical composition moving vertically upwards and being presented on the lower reading index of the keyboard, to decode them in order to obtain the corresponding musical sounds, which are emitted by a synthesizer, the length of emission of the notes resulting from the adjustable speed of advance of the marks.
