The present invention concerns a tilting trapdoor arrangement 1 for an opening O of the window type provided in the partition wall C of a livestock building, which arrangement comprises a tilting flap 2 designed to bear against the inner face C1 of the partition in order to close off the opening O, under the effect of traction means acting in a direction pointed towards the outside of the building, characterised in that it comprises: - means forming a stop element and capable of limiting the spacing of the upper part 20 of the flap 2 relative to the partition, during its tilting; - at least one link 4, one end of which is articulated on the flap 2, and the other end of which is articulated on the lower part of the opening O1; and in that the said traction means act on the flap 2 at a level lower than that of the said articulation of the link 4 on this flap. <IMAGE>
