<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a fault in which cells of same destination are inputted to an exchange network by providing an arrangement error avoidance means detecting the propriety of the regularity in the result of arrangement and masking an erroneous header and a comparison means comparing and detecting the arrangement of the selection means in duplicate. CONSTITUTION:Cells whose destination is given at random are inputted one after another to input terminals T0-T7. Input buffers 0-7 store the cells and output headers of the cells to input DIN0-DIN7 of a sorter 10 through a line (a) of outputs DOUT0-7 respectively. A negotiation network 1 discriminates a header of a different destination as a winner and takes one of plural headers of the same destination as winner and the others as a defeat. The buffers 0-7 output only a cell corresponding to a winner header to inputs IN0-IN7 of a switch 16 respectively through a line (c) of an output SOUT to erase relevant cells. Moreover, the buffers 0-7 output the header of a defeat cell in the succeeding cycle to the negotiation network 1 together with the header of the other cell.</p> |
