<p>PURPOSE:To improve the throughput of a switch by grouping a link path by a call speed and setting a call to a link path in response to the call speed. CONSTITUTION:A link call speed setting circuit 293 is connected to a controller 200 and the link call speed setting circuit 293 gives a call speed corresponding to links 252-274 to the controller 200. The controller 200 based on the call speed information corresponding to the links 252-274 groups the links into those used for a high speed call and those used for a low speed call and store them with distinction. When a call setting request for the high speed call exists, the controller 200 uses a link in the high speed call link group G1 to set a link path and when a call setting request for the low speed call comes, the controller 200 uses a link in the low speed call link group G2 to set a link path.</p> |
