PURPOSE:To obtain image recording which allows transfer recording of continuous gradations by providing a microcapsule layer formed by dispersing porous microcapsules contg. a leuco dyestuff into a binder on a base and providing a photosensitive layer formed by mixing a photosensitive resin and a optical polymn. initiator with a binder thereon. CONSTITUTION:The microcapsule layer 10 formed by dispersing the porous microcapsules 3 contg. the leuco dyestuff 4 is provided on the base 2 and further, the photosensitive layer 11 formed by mixing the photosensitive resin 6 which is cured by UV light or visible light and the optical polymn. initiator 7 with the binder is provided thereon. The photosensitive and heat-sensitive transfer sheet 1 is irradiated with the UV rays or visible light corresponding to the signal of images of a CRT, etc., to form the degrees of polymn. corresponding to the image signals in the photosensitive resin 6 of the photosensitive layer 11. The leuco dyestuff 4 corresponding to the image signals is transmitted from the photosensitive and heat-sensitive transfer sheet 1 by a heat roller and irradiation of IR rays to effect a chemical reaction with a color developer 13 on a recoding sheet 12. The transfer recording of high image quality of the continuous gradations is obtd. on the recording sheet in this way. |
