PURPOSE:To effect switchover of humidity in a refrigerator by a simple operation with one unit by providing a humidity changeover switch for selectively operating one of dehumidifier and a humidifier of a cold storage display case, and a humidity sensor for controlling ON, OFF the selected dehumidifier or humidifier in response to humidity in the refrigerator to set humidity. CONSTITUTION:Humidity control in a refrigerator has three types of low, normal and high humidifies, which are manually selected according to the type of a load. If the humidity in the refrigerator in a display case is desired to be lowered, a humidity changeover switch 23 is set to a low humidity position, and a humidity sensor 24 is set, for example, to 30% of humidity. A parallel circuit of a three-way solenoid valve 2 and a dehumidifying heater 15 is connected to a power source bus UW via the sensor 24. The valve 2 is operated, high temperature refrigerant of a compressor 1 is fed to a heating pipe 8, and the heater 15 is energized. Thus, chilled gas passing through a diffusing duct A from a cooler 6 is heated, reduced in humidity, and diffused to a display rack 13. If the humidity is desired to be maintained at a high valve, the switch 23 is set to a high humidity position, and the sensor 24 is set, for example, to 75%. |
